In war or peace, Joyce Schmalz is someone you can rely on. When she saw confusion and inequality affecting seniors, Joyce co-founded what is now Seniors First BC.
As part of the British Military Police during WWII, Joyce watched as London burned through German bombing raids, soldiers kissed their families goodbye, and children huddled underground.
