In an inspiring show of unity, residents and team members at Mayfair Terrace Retirement Residence in Port Coquitlam, BC created care packages for the residents and team at a retirement residence in Burnaby, BC.

The care packages contained a variety of treats for the residents, including chocolates, candies, a care message and apple sauce. There was also Tim Horton’s coffee and donuts for the team members.

“We must come together as one to overcome the challenges ahead,” said Nyan Phyo, resident experience manager at Mayfair Terrace. “Also, as health care professionals, we are much more effective when we work together with the support from one another. At times, we lose that awareness that we have other senior living residences around us going through the same situations.”
