There’s nothing like spending an afternoon fishing with family and friends. That’s why residents at Mariposa Gardens Retirement and Care Community in Osoyoos, BC, as well as members of their day program, were happy to participate in the fifth annual Fishing Forever event with their family and friends. The event was held at the Strohmann family’s fishing pond on Anarchist Mountain, and organized by Accessible Okanagan.
Residents and members of the day program had a wonderful day catching rainbow trout, and are hoping to participate in the event again next year. You can read more about the event in this article, published by the Osoyoos Times. Look below to see some of the memories that were captured throughout the day!
